Donal Power worked for the Minister for Justice for 30 years. During that time he has carried out security surveys and risk assessments for high risk profile people and businesses throughout the country.He has provided training in Counter Tiger Kidnapping Techniques to major multinational companies in the Financial Services Sector.
Donal holds among his qualifications the following:
- Advanced Garda Siochana Crime Prevention Officer Course
- Awarded An Garda Siochana National Health and Safety Representative of the Year
- Awarded the Advanced Course in the Principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design from the National Scottish Police College.
- Donal holds a Diploma in Occupational Health Welfare UCD and has completed the Safety Welfare at Work Act Risk Assessment Course.
- Trained as a Private Security Authority/Garda Risk Assessor Officer for Cash in Transit Operators.
- Completed the Radiological Institute of Ireland approved Course in 2008 to operate as an Approved Garda Risk Assessor for Radiological source locations throughout the State.
